Research Interests
I am dedicated to exploring the significance of effective governance in achieving sustainable progress, especially in countries like Sudan with its unique socio-political landscape. My research aims to present a framework for effective governance tailored to Sudan's context, ensuring a sustainable and inclusive approach to economic recovery and development. Additionally, I seek to propose a comprehensive framework for enhancing institutional capacity during Sudan's post-conflict period. These frameworks are designed to assist policymakers in Sudan and similar contexts in building the necessary institutional capacity to effectively govern and support economic recovery and development efforts.
Research Work
I am interested in research to gain insights into the economic recovery and development efforts in Sudan's post-conflict era. By comparing and contrasting with Rwanda's successful reconstruction strategies, the study aims to uncover valuable lessons and best practices that could be applied in Sudan to foster sustainable growth and prosperity. Rebuilding the economy of a post-conflict country is a multifaceted and formidable undertaking, fraught with various challenges and opportunities. Sudan, having endured years of conflict, serves as a compelling case study that can offer valuable insights for other nations facing similar circumstances. Given the prevalence of conflicts in the world today, delving into post-conflict economic rebuilding and its associated issues is of paramount importance.
