Research Work

My master's thesis investigated the impact of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on countries' participation in Global Value Chains (GVCs).

A significant challenge encountered during this research was the selection of countries, as numerous developing nations lack sufficient data.

Moreover, I faced difficulties associated with the complexity of measuring Global Value Chains (GVCs). Additionally, a disruption caused by the pandemic in 2018 introduced another layer of complexity to my analysis.

In general, Global Value Chains (GVCs) represent a burgeoning area of study, and the framework is gaining traction among scholars and international organizations.
