近日，国际发展合作学院汉语 Workshop 于 10 月 12 日正式启动。本次 Workshop响应国际学院来华留学生全英文授课本硕博项目汉语课程教学规范的建议，同时贴合留学生汉语学习的实际需求，面向国际发展合作学院 2023 级 - 2025 级留学生开设，助力留学生夯实汉语基础，更好地在中国开展专业学习与跨文化交流。

The Chinese Language Workshop of the School of International Development and Cooperation (SIDC) officially kicked off on October 12. The workshop was created in response to recommendations from the School of International Education regarding Chinese language teaching standards for English-taught degree programs for international students. It also caters to international students’ demand for Chinese learning. Open to SIDC international students enrolled from 2023 to 2025. It aims to help international students consolidate their Chinese foundation and facilitate their academic studies and cross-cultural communication in China.

本次汉语 Workshop 根据留学生汉语水平分层教学，设置初级班（HSK1-2 级）与中级班（HSK3 级及以上）两大班级，每周安排 2 节课程，因材施教满足不同阶段学员的学习需求。初级班聚焦汉语入门，夯实拼音、基础词汇与日常对话；中级班侧重汉语听说读写综合能力提升，对接 HSK 备考、学术交流与生活场景应用，兼顾实用性与针对性。

The workshop adopts differentiated teaching based on students’ Chinese proficiency, with two classes: the Elementary Class (HSK 1–2) and the Intermediate Class (HSK 3 and above). Two sessions will be held every week to accommodate students at different stages. The Elementary Class focuses on basic Chinese pronunciation, vocabulary and daily conversations. The Intermediate Class targets integrated skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, covering HSK preparation, academic communication and real-life scenarios, balancing practicality and relevance.

课程一经开设便受到本院留学生的广泛关注。作为学分之外的汉语学习机会，汉语 Workshop 为他们提供了优质、免费的中文学习平台。参与课堂的同学们纷纷表示，来华求学，不仅要深耕专业知识，掌握汉语更是理解中国、开展学术交流的重要基础。大家认为，分层次的汉语课程实用性很强，能够有效补齐汉语短板，助力自己更好地融入校园生活，实现专业学习与语言能力同步提升。

Since its launch, the workshop has attracted widespread attention among international students of the school. As a Chinese learning opportunity beyond formal course credits, the Chinese Language Workshop offers them a high-quality and free Chinese learning platform. Participants commented that while pursuing their academic studies in China, they need to delve into professional knowledge. Mastering Chinese also serves as an important foundation for understanding China and conducting academic exchanges. Students noted that the tiered Chinese curriculum is highly practical. It effectively helps them address weaknesses in Chinese, facilitates better integration into campus life, and enables simultaneous progress in academic training and language proficiency.

值得一提的是，项目后续将开放名额邀请院内中国学生参与。中国学生可走进 Workshop 课堂，体验协助开展中文教学的过程，在课堂互动中搭建沟通桥梁，进一步丰富院内国际交流形式，推动中外学生互学互鉴。

Looking ahead, Chinese students from SIDC will also be invited to join the workshop. They will get hands-on experience assisting in Chinese teaching for international students. This arrangement diversifies internal cross-cultural exchanges and promotes mutual learning between Chinese and international students.

国际发展合作学院始终坚持以学生为中心，持续完善留学生培养支持体系。汉语 Workshop 是学院服务留学生成长、搭建中外语言文化交流平台的重要举措。后续学院将持续做好课程组织保障，不断优化教学内容，帮助各国留学生精进汉语能力，以语言为纽带，增进中外青年之间的理解与友谊。

Adhering to a student-centered approach, SIDC keeps improving its support system for international students. The Chinese Language Workshop serves as a key initiative to support international students and build a platform for language and cultural exchange. SIDC will continue to organize the sessions and refine teaching content to help international students advance their Chinese skills. Using language as a bridge, the workshop fosters mutual understanding and friendship among young people from different countries.
